I am a retired Orthopedic Surgeon living in Scottsdale Arizona. Much of my youth was spent in the Northeast corridor from NYC to Boston. I have lived and studied in Europe and the States. I moved to the Southwest 14 years ago and started my artist career studying with Lorrie Putnam, Desmond O’Hagan, Scott Burdick, Matt Smith, Tim Rees and Rose Franzen. My love of hiking and the outdoors has blended well with my enjoyment of Pleine Air painting over studio art. I enjoy figure and life studies.
