Oil is my main 2D medium, clay is my 3D choice I describe my work as "humanity with a sense of humor" and "nature inspired". I definitely do not do "still life" subjects. My life and art are people focused (occasionally an animal gets in there, especially if I see human likeness). My style is at times, surrealistic and impressionistic.
I taught art at the college where I got some my education, had my own gallery for 20+ yrs, directed the city artwalk in Prescott,Az., and managed the Artstore at Mesa Center for the Arts . I'm strongly influenced by my environment and people I come in contact with. I much prefer the Co-op approach to a gallery, for the interaction with others ( again, the people factor) . As a side hustle, I host painting events and one annual "Art Market" annually in Tempe. Since moving to the valley, I have been juried into a number shows in the Phoenix area, and two co-op galleries.
